P.C.C. Notes from January 2012 Parish Magazine

A Very Happy New Year to all our Readers!

At the beginning of the December PCC Meeting, Mary Shaw, Vice Chairman, welcomed The Rev. Silke Tetzlaff to her first meeting as our new Rector. The Rector thanked all for her warm welcome to Staplehurst and for the wonderful service of induction in November.

Matters discussed included a Day Trip to St. John's College, Cambridge, on May 19th 2012. St. John's are the patrons of All Saints and have had a close association with the Church for many years. Also, in November, the Parish Weekend is being re-introduced. More details on both these events will be printed later.

Donations from the Shepherd's Market realised the sum of £1,000 pounds.

Discussions for Team Spirit Staplehurst are on-going and details will appear as and when activities and events are finalised.
